LEA and/or Subscribing LEA This agreement is intended to be provided to an Operator from a LEA. Upon receiving an executed agreement from an Operator, the LEA should fully review the agreement and if agreeable, should have an authorized LEA contact wet sign theagreement. Illegal Activity No portion of the Property has been or will be purchased with proceeds of any illegal activity.
Unlawful Activities Member agrees not to use the premises or any part thereof for the conduct of unlawful activities.
TRANSFER TO A THIRD PARTY You may transfer the software directly to a third party only with the licensed computer. The transfer must include the software and the Certificate of Authenticity label. You may not keep any copies of the software or any earlier version. Before any permitted transfer, the other party must agree that this agreement applies to the transfer and use of the software.
Prohibition on Use of Public Funds for Political Activity In performing the Services, Contractor shall comply with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12G, which prohibits funds appropriated by the City for this Agreement from being expended to participate in, support, or attempt to influence any political campaign for a candidate or for a ballot measure. Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapter 12G.
Communicable Diseases (a) The Parties to this Agreement share a desire to prevent acquisition and transmission where employees may come into contact with a person and/or possessions of a person with a communicable disease.
Restricted Gifts During the period between the date of this Disaffiliation Agreement and Closing, the Parties shall work together to identify any restrictions or change of control provisions in gifts, grants, endowments, restricted accounts and similar funds available or pledged to the Local Church. The Parties shall cooperate to determine any actions that may be necessary, including without limitation any consent or acknowledgment from the grantor of such funds, in order that such funds, resources or pledges will not be adversely affected by the disaffiliation of the Local Church. The Local Church, after disaffiliation, shall treat such funds and any future bequests or other gifts received in the pre-disaffiliation name of the Local Church, consistent with requirements of law and such donor’s direction in the written gift instrument, as restricted for the church related operations and activities as conducted by the Local Church.
Scholarly Activity The parties recognize that research and scholarly activity have always been an integral component of faculty work at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Research and scholarship inform teaching, curriculum and teaching practices, enhance the knowledge of faculty and students, and enable faculty members to remain intellectually stimulated and current in their fields. Scholarly activity is a dynamic process consisting of the following interrelated components: discovery, application, integration, teaching and learning, and creative artistry. Nothing in this provision shall be construed as increasing a faculty member’s assigned workload.
Political Activity An employee shall not use his or her official authority for the purpose of interfering with or affecting the nomination or election of any candidate for public office. An employee shall not command or solicit in a coercive fashion from any other employee direct or indirect participation in any political activity or enforce or solicit in a coercive fashion contribution for any political party, organization, or candidate. An employee shall retain his or her right to vote and freely express opinions on all political subjects. An employee shall not be prohibited from participation in local community activities or from holding public office in the community in which the employee resides, provided that such activity does not conflict with Section 3.01 of the Rules and Regulations for Personnel Administration (and the Federal Hatch Act to the extent that employees of agencies receiving federal funds are subject thereto).
Unlawful Internet Gambling and Other Illegal Activities You agree that you are not engaged in unlawful internet gambling or any other illegal activity. You agree that you will not use any of your accounts, access devices or services for unlawful internet gambling or other illegal activities. We may terminate your account relationship if you engage in unlawful internet gambling or other illegal activities.
