Common use of Relationship of Parties Clause in Contracts

Relationship of Parties. In no event shall Buyer, unless duly authorized, act in any way whatsoever as agent for Amgen, to represent Amgen, pledge Amgen’s credit, enter into any contract or undertaking of any sort, make any promise, warranty or representation on behalf of Amgen (or any other Amgen Group member) or settle any claim or express any opinion on behalf of Amgen (or any other Amgen Group member) as to the merit of such claim with respect to the Products or any related matter. Nothing in this Agreement shall create or be deemed to create any relationship of agency, partnership or joint venture between the parties 13.3
