Examples of Additional Governors in a sentence
If, following the exercise of the Secretary of State’s powers to appoint Additional Governors or Further Governors, pursuant to the Articles of Association the Members pass an ordinary or special resolution to remove one or more of those Additional or Further Governors appointed by the Secretary of State, the Secretary of State may give the Academy Trust 12 months, or such lesser period as he considers appropriate in the circumstances, written notice to terminate this Agreement.
The Secretary of State’s right to terminate this Agreement under clause 101 shall cease if he removes any of the Additional Governors or Further Governors which he has appointed pursuant to the Articles of Association.
The Secretary of State may appoint such Additional Governors as he thinks fit if the Secretary of State has: a) given the Governors a warning notice in accordance with Article 60 ; and b) the Governors have failed to comply, or secure compliance, with the notice to the Secretary of State’s satisfaction within the compliance period.
However, such royalties may also be taxed in the Contracting State in which they arise and according to the laws of that State, but if the recipient is the beneficial owner of the royalties the tax so charged shall not exceed 20 per cent of the gross amount of the royalties.
Additional Governors appointed by each committee will be approved by the Governing Body.
