Address Verification Service definition

Address Verification Service means an adjunct process to the credit authorization process where the Cardholder’s reported billing address is verified against the Bank’s address on file for such Cardholder.
Address Verification Service means the system used by credit card processors to verify that the address provided by a person using the credit card is the billing address for the credit card account.
