Diploma means a course of study in a higher education institution leading to a diploma as described in the Australian Qualifications Framework as at 1 January 1995.
Diversional Therapist means a person who provides, facilitates and co-ordinates group and individual leisure and recreational activities. This person must be a graduate from an approved university course which includes: An Associate Diploma and Diploma of Applied Science (Diversional Therapy); Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Leisure and Health); Bachelor of Applied Science (Diversional Therapy); Diploma or Bachelor of Health Sciences (Leisure and Health); an Associate Diploma course in Diversional Therapy; or who has such other qualifications deemed to be equivalent (such as a Four-year degree, Master’s Degree or PhD).
Physiotherapist means a person who is a) duly registered with the Supplementary Medical Professions Council of Hong Kong pursuant to the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance (Cap. 359 of the Laws of Hong Kong) or in relation to jurisdictions outside of Hong Kong, a body of equivalent standing; and b) legally authorised for practising physiotherapy in the locality where the treatment is provided to an Insured, but in no circumstance shall include the Insured, the Policyholder, an insurance intermediary or an employer, employee, Immediate Family Member or business partner(s) of the Policyholder and/or the Insured(s).
Weapon-free school zone means school property and a vehicle used by a school to transport students to or from school property.
Fellowship means a fellowship in a professional medical college recognized by the Board after consultation with the Medical Advisory Committee.
School nurse means a registered professional nurse with Maine Department of Education certification for school nursing.
Public school academy means a public school academy or strict discipline academy organized under the revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.1 to 380.1852.
High school means grades 9 through 12.
Youth Football means those participating at ages under 11s to under 18s.
HCD means the California Department of Housing and Community Development.
Juvenile means any person defined as a juvenile in any member state or by the rules of the Interstate Commission, including:
School bus means every motor vehicle owned by a public or governmental agency or private school and operated for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity, to or from school or school activities, or, privately owned and operated for compensation for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity to or from school or school activities (Education Law §11[1] and Vehicle and Traffic Law §142).
Midwife means a midwife in good standing with the College of Midwives of Ontario;
School service means a website, mobile application, or online service that (i) is designed and marketed solely for use in elementary or secondary schools; (ii) is used at the direction of teachers or other employees at elementary or secondary schools; and (iii) collects and maintains, uses, or shares student personal information. "School service" does not include a website, mobile application, or online service that is designed and marketed for use by individuals or entities generally, even if it is also marketed for use in elementary or secondary schools.
School climate means the quality and character of school life with a particular focus on the quality of the relationships within the school community between and among students and adults.
