Adult Video Store definition

Adult Video Store means a building or portion of a building, used by any person licensed as an adult film distributor or adult film retailer under the Motion Picture Act,R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 314, as amended or replaced from time to time where adult motion pictures are available for distribution, sale or rental.

Adult Video Store means an establishment having a substantial or significant portion of its stock in trade videos, tapes, CD ROMS, computer discs or other electronic media which are distinguished or characterized by their emphasis on matter depicting, describing, or relating to specified sexual activities or specified anatomical areas or an establishment with a segment or section devoted to the sale or display of such material.

Adult Video Store means any establishment having a substantial or significant portion of its stock in trade, video tapes or movies or other reproductions, whether for sale or rent, which are distinguished or characterized by their emphasis on matter depicting, describing or relating to specific sexual activities or specified anatomical areas or an establishment with a segment or section, comprising of five (5) percent of its total floor space, devoted to the sale or display of such material or which derives more than five (5) percent of its net sales from videos which are characterized or distinguished or relating to specified sexual activities or specified anatomical areas.

Adult Video Store means a commercial establishment which, as one of its principal business purposes the sale or rental, or presentation for a fee or incidentally to another service, "adult videos," as defined in this section; or in conjunction therewith, regularly presents on the premises sexually oriented motion pictures or sexually oriented films, "adult videos," or sexually oriented live exhibitions which are distinguished or characterized by an emphasis on matter depicting, describing or relating to "specified sexual activities" or "specified anatomical areas" as defined in this section and in section 6.54.010 of the metropolitan code for observation by patrons therein.

Adult Video Store means any premises where adult videos are provided in the pursuance of a Business where the adult video display occupies an area greater than 10% of the total video display.
