Advanced Unlicensed Assistant definition

Advanced Unlicensed Assistant or "AUA" means an individual, other than a licensed nurse, who performs in an assistive role and has been certified to perform core skills as delegated by a licensed nurse and as authorized by the Rules and Regulations of the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

  • This section establishes the criteria utilized by the Board in determining the effect of criminal history on eligibility for nursing licensure or Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) certification and implements the requirements of Oklahoma Statutes Title 59 Sections 567.1. et seq.
