Affected System Network Upgrades definition

Affected System Network Upgrades means the additions, modifications, and upgrades to New England Transmission System required to accommodate Affected System Interconnection Customer’s proposed interconnection to a transmission system other than New England Transmission System. Affected System Operator shall mean the entity that operates an External Affected System. Affected System Queue Position shall mean the queue position of an External Affected System Interconnection Customer in System Operator’s interconnection queue relative to System Operator’s Interconnection Customers’ Queue Positions. Affected System Study shall mean the evaluation of External Affected System Interconnection Customers’ proposed interconnection(s) to a transmission system outside the New England Control Area that have an impact on the New England System Operator’s Transmission System, as described in Section 9 of this SGIP.
Affected System Network Upgrades means the additions, modifications, and upgrades to New England Transmission Provider’s Transmission System required to accommodate Affected System Interconnection Customer’s proposed interconnection to a transmission system other than New England Transmission Provider’s Transmission System. Affected System Operator shall mean the entity that operates an Affected System.

Examples of Affected System Network Upgrades in a sentence

  • For purposes of determining necessary Affected System Network Upgrades, the Affected System Study shall consider the level of interconnection service requested in megawatts by Affected System Interconnection Customer, unless otherwise required to study the full generating facility capacity due to safety or reliability concerns.

  • System Operator shall use Clustering in conducting the Affected System Study and shall use existing studies to the extent practicable, when multiple Affected System Interconnection Customers that are part of a single Cluster may cause the need for Affected System Network Upgrades.

  • For Affected System Interconnection Customers that are equally queued, the Affected System Queue Position shall have no bearing on the assignment of Affected System Network Upgrades identified in the applicable Affected System Study.

  • Such security for payment shall be in an amount sufficient to cover the costs for constructing, procuring, and installing the applicable portion of Affected System Network Upgrade(s) and shall be reduced on a dollar-for-dollar basis for payments made to Interconnecting Transmission Owner for these purposes.

  • Affected System Facilities Construction Agreement shall mean the agreement contained in Appendix 11 to this LGIP that is made between Interconnecting Transmission OwnerTransmission Provider and Affected System Interconnection Customer to facilitate the construction of and to set forth cost responsibility for necessary Affected System Network Upgrades on the New England Transmission SystemTransmission Provider’s Transmission System.

  • The CAISO will also coordinate with Affected System Operators under GIP Section 3.7 and GIP BPM Section 18.1. However, it is the IC that is responsible for contracting with the Affected System for construction of those Affected System Network Upgrades which are necessary to safely and reliably connect the proposed Generating Facility to the CAISO Controlled Grid.

Related to Affected System Network Upgrades

  • Network Upgrades means modifications or additions to transmission-related facilities that are integrated with and support the Transmission Provider’s overall Transmission System for the general benefit of all users of such Transmission System. Network Upgrades shall include:

  • Affected System means an electric system other than the Transmission Provider’s Transmission System that may be affected by a proposed interconnection or on which a proposed interconnection or addition of facilities or upgrades may require modifications or upgrades to the Transmission System.

  • Affected System Operator means an entity that operates an Affected System or, if the Affected System is under the operational control of an independent system operator or a regional transmission organization, such independent entity.

  • Supplier System means the information and communications technology system used by the Supplier in performing the Services including the Software, the Equipment and related cabling (but excluding the Customer System);

  • Service Drop means a cable that, by its design, capacity and relationship to other cables of the Company, can be reasonably considered to be for the sole purpose of connecting backbone of the Equipment to not more than one individual customer or building point of presence or property;

  • Software Upgrade means a release of Software, in object code form, or firmware, which adds new functionality and feature enhancements to the Software or Equipment. Kodak software releases that are designated as Software Upgrade will be identified A.B.x where the A &B designates the release as a Software Upgrade.

  • smart metering system means an electronic system that is capable of measuring electricity fed into the grid or electricity consumed from the grid, providing more information than a conventional meter, and that is capable of transmitting and receiving data for information, monitoring and control purposes, using a form of electronic communication;

  • interconnected system means a number of transmission and distribution systems linked together by means of one or more interconnectors;

  • Merchant Network Upgrades means additions to, or modifications or replacements of, physical facilities of the Interconnected Transmission Owner that, on the date of the pertinent Transmission Interconnection Customer’s Upgrade Request, are part of the Transmission System or are included in the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan.

  • Maintenance Outage means a time period during which Seller plans to reduce the Power Output of the Power Product, in full or in part, in order to facilitate maintenance work on the Generating Facility, other than a Major Overhaul.

  • Generator Maintenance Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit in order to perform necessary repairs on specific components of the facility, if removal of the facility meets the guidelines specified in the PJM Manuals.

  • Custom Local Area Signaling Service Features (CLASS) means certain call-management service features that are currently available from SBC-13STATE’s local networks. These could include: Automatic Call Back; Automatic Recall; Call Trace; Caller Identification and related blocking features; Calling Number Delivery; Customer Originated Trace; Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting; Selective Call Forward; and Selective Call Rejection.

  • MERS(R) System The system of recording transfers of Mortgages electronically maintained by MERS.

  • Customer System means the Customer's computing environment (consisting of hardware, software and/or telecommunications networks or equipment) used by the Customer or the Supplier in connection with this Contract which is owned by or licensed to the Customer by a third party and which interfaces with the Supplier System or which is necessary for the Customer to receive the Services;

  • Electric System Upgrades means any Network Upgrades, Distribution Upgrades, or Interconnection Facilities that are determined to be necessary by the CAISO or Participating Transmission Owner, as applicable, to physically and electrically interconnect the Project to the Participating Transmission Owner’s electric system for receipt of Energy at the Point of Interconnection (as defined in the CAISO Tariff) if connecting to the CAISO Grid, or the Interconnection Point, if connecting to a part of the Participating TO’s electric system that is not part of the CAISO Grid.

  • Signaling System 7 (SS7 means a signaling protocol used by the CCS Network.

  • Service line sample means a one (1) liter sample of water collected in accordance with section 37(b)(3) of this rule that has been standing at least six (6) hours in a service line.
