Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise definition

Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or “ACDBE” has the same meaning as set forth in Title 49, Part 23 of the Code of Regulations, as now enacted or hereafter amended, revised, modified or replaced by subsequent regulation.

Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and "DBE" shall mean, as certified by the State of Rhode Island and verified by RIAC, a business, whether it is a corporation, sole proprietorship, or partnership, of which at least fifty-one percent (51%) of the interest is owned and controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals as defined in the Airport and Airways Safety and Capacity Expansion Act of 1987 and the regulations promulgated pursuant hereto at 49 CFR Part 23 and Part 26.
Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or “ACDBE” means a concession that is a for-profit small business concern: ▪ That is at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned by one or more individuals who are both socially and economically disadvantaged; or, in the case of a corporation, in which fifty-one percent (51%) of the stock is owned by one or more such individuals; and ▪ Whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more of the socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who own it.
Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or “ACDBE” shall mean an entity meeting the definition of a disadvantaged business enterprise as defined in U.S. Department of Transportation Regulations Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 23 and meeting the requirements specified herein.
Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise means a business, whether it is a corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership, joint venture, or other form of business entity certified as an airport concession disadvantaged business enterprise in accordance with the Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, 49 CFR Part 23.
Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise means a concession that is a for-profit small business concern: (a) which is at least 51 percent owned by one or more individuals who are both socially and economically disadvantaged, or, in the case of any publicly owned business, at least 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals; and (b) whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who own it.
Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise means a concessionaire that is a for-profit small business concern that is (a) at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned by one or more individuals who are socially and economically disadvantaged or, in the case of a corporation, in which fifty-one (51%) of the stock is owned by one or more such individuals; and (b) whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more of the socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who own it. In any event, the socially and economically disadvantaged individual(s) cannot exceed the personal net worth limitation.
Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or “ACDBE” means an Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise as defined in Title 49, Part 23 of the Code of Regulations, as now or hereafter amended or any successor regulation.
