ALTERNATE COUNCIL MEMBER definition

ALTERNATE COUNCIL MEMBER means the council member appointed by Council of the Town of The Blue Mountains to attend Grey County Council Meetings in the place of the Mayor or Deputy Mayor of the Town of The Blue Mountains, when the Mayor or Deputy Mayor is unable to attend a Grey County Council/Committee of the Whole meeting for any reason. Such appointment shall be for the entire term of Council.
ALTERNATE COUNCIL MEMBER means an alternate for a Council Member as used in the Instrument;
ALTERNATE COUNCIL MEMBER means a Lower-Tier Council Member who has been appointed by the lower-tier council to act as a substitute member on Regional council when another member of that lower-tier Council is unable to attend a Regional council meeting.

  • Neutral Member has the meaning provided in Section 2. 1(f)(ii) of this Single Family Shared-Loss Agreement.

  • Nomination Committee means the nomination committee of the Board established in accordance with Article 114;

  • Panel Member ’ means a member of a panel;

  • Council Member means a member of the Council;

  • Selection Committee means a committee of individual(s) who evaluate and rank proposals; conduct negotiations; and makes a contract award recommendation to the District and its respective Committees.

  • Lead Member shall, in the case of a joint venture, mean the member of such joint venture who shall have the authority to bind the contractor and each member of the Joint venture; and shall be deemed to be the Contractor for the purposes of this Agreement; the Lead Member shall itself undertake and perform at least 51% (fifty one per cent) of the total length of the Project Highway;

  • Candidate Committee means a committee established by a candidate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-9(a), for the purpose of receiving contributions and making expenditures.

  • Sub-Committee means a committee of a committee created by the board.

  • Nominating Committee means the nominating committee of the board of directors of the Company established pursuant to the Articles, or any successor committee.

  • Governance Committee means the Governance Committee of the Board.

  • CSR Committee means the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Board referred to in section 135 of the Act.

  • Nomination and Remuneration Committee means a Committee of Board of Directors of the Company, constituted in accordance with the provisions of Section 178 of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Listing Agreement.

  • Joint Steering Committee or “JSC” has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.

  • Hearing Committee means the committee appointed pursuant to this Plan to hear a request for an evidentiary hearing that has been properly filed and pursued by a practitioner.

  • District Evaluation Advisory Committee means a group created to oversee and guide the planning and implementation of the Board of Education's evaluation policies and procedures as set forth in N.J.A.C. 6A:10-2.3.

  • Joint Committee means the Joint Committee established by Article 164(1) of the withdrawal agreement;

  • joint board means the Townsville-Thuringowa Water Supply Joint Board.

  • Appeal Committee means the appeal committee established by the Council in terms of section 12(3)(a);

  • Nominated Representative means, in respect of each party, the person whose details are set out in the Special Conditions (if any).

  • Full Member means any person who is in one of the categories of membership referred to in Rule 10.3.

  • Coordination Committee means the jointly constituted PJM and NYISO committee established to administer the terms and provisions of this Agreement pursuant to Section 35.3.2.

  • Advisory council means the developmental disabilities advisory

  • Advisory Committee means the Employer's Advisory Committee as from time to time constituted.

  • OH&S Committee is referred to hereafter, read “body nominated to implement policy on site”.

  • Participating member means a member who is required to make mandatory contributions by the applicable retirement act to his or her health reimbursement account.

  • Audit Committee means the audit committee of the board of directors of the Company established pursuant to the Articles, or any successor committee.
