Amendment of certification definition

Amendment of certification means a procedure whereby an incumbent labor organization certified by the Board to represent a unit of public employees or a public employer may petition the Board to amend the certification to reflect a change such as a change in the name or the affiliation of the labor organization or a change in the name of the employer.
Amendment of certification means a written modification of a previously submitted certification of candidates submitted before or after a deadline for submitting a certification of candidates but, unless otherwise provided by law or order of a court of competent jurisdiction, prior to the printing of ballots in support of absentee voting.
