Analytical run means an event consisting of the uninter- rupted analysis of a set of samples used to establish the frequency of continuing calibration verification.

Analytical run means the process during which a set of analytical drinking water samples along with an appropriate number of blanks, matrix spikes, or quality control samples are analyzed according to National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) requirements to determine the presence, absence, or concentration of a specific target analyte or analytes. An analytical run is complete when the instrument performing the sample analysis generates a report of the sample analysis.
