Anthem Network definition

Anthem Network means the networking equipment, databases or data stores, applications, servers, and endpoints that are capable of using and sharing software, data, and hardware resources and that are owned and/or operated by Anthem.

  • Covered charges for emergency and urgent medical care received when temporarily away from an Anthem Network Area due to business, vacation, or when a child is away at college will be covered at the in-network benefit level provided Anthem determines the requirements have been satisfied to receive the in-network benefit level.

  • It is expected that non-emergency and non-urgent medical care will be obtained upon the Member’s return to their Anthem Network Area.For emergency care, seek health care treatment immediately and go directly to the nearest emergency facility.Anthem has broad networks including both emergency and urgent care facilities.

  • Anthem shall implement and maintain current, up-to-date antivirus protection programs or a reasonably equivalent technology on the Anthem Network components that require antivirus software, which shall be at the highest technical level available within Anthem-approved antivirus products that can be supported on such components, subject to any reasonable and documented security exceptions.

  • Mobile Network means the network facilities and/or network services comprising the public cellular network for the provision of Call Communications.

  • BT Network means the communications network owned or leased by BT and used to provide a Service.

  • Provider network means an affiliated group of varied health care providers that is established to provide a continuum of health care services to individuals;

  • Online Services means Microsoft-hosted services to which Customer subscribes under this Agreement. It does not include software and services provided under separate license terms.

Network Resources do not include any resource, or any portion thereof, that is committed for sale to third parties or otherwise cannot be called upon to meet the Network Customer’s Network Load on a non-interruptible basis, except for purposes of fulfilling obligations under a reserve sharing program.

  • Local Area Network or “LAN” means the infrastructure that enables the ability to transfer IP services within Sites (including data, voice and video conferencing services).

  • DSL refers to a set of service-enhancing copper technologies that are designed to provide digital communications services over copper Loops either in addition to or instead of normal analog voice service, sometimes referred to herein as xDSL, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data. Basic Rate Interface-ISDN (BRI-ISDN) provides for a digital transmission of two (2) 64 Kbps bearer channels and one (1) 16 Kbps data channel (2B+D).

  • Hosting or “Hosted” means the storing of software applications on a hosting provider’s servers, allowing customers to access a software solution or application through the internet.

  • Network User means a customer or a potential customer of a transmission system operator, and transmission system operators themselves in so far as it is necessary for them to carry out their functions in relation to transmission;

  • Network plan means health insurance coverage of a health insurance issuer under which the financing and delivery of medical care including items and services paid for as medical care are provided, in whole or in part, through a defined set of providers under contract with the carrier.
