Network Resource definition

Network Resource shall have the meaning as provided in the NYISO OATT, for such resources located in New York, and the meaning as provided in the PJM OATT, for such resources located in PJM.
Network Resource means any designated generating resource owned, purchased, or leased by a Network Customer under the Network Integration Transmission Service Tariff. Network Resources do not include any resource, or any portion thereof, that is committed for sale to third parties or otherwise cannot be called upon to meet the Network Customer’s Network Load on a non-interruptible basis, except for purposes of fulfilling obligations under a reserve sharing program. Examples of Network Resource in a sentence

  • Transmission Provider must conduct the necessary studies and Transmission Owner shall construct the facilities identified in Appendix A of this GIA, subject to the approval of Governmental Authorities, needed to integrate the Generating Facility in the same manner as for any Generating Facility being designated as a Network Resource.

  • However, if the Generating Facility has not been designated as a Network Resource by any Network Customer, it cannot be required to provide Ancillary Services except to the extent such requirements extend to all generating facilities that are similarly situated.

  • A Generating Facility receiving NR Interconnection Service may also be used to provide Ancillary Services after technical studies and/or periodic analyses are performed with respect to the Generating Facility’s ability to provide any applicable Ancillary Services, provided that such studies and analyses have been or would be required in connection with the provision of such Ancillary Services by any existing Network Resource.

  • NR Interconnection Service allows the Generating Facility to be designated by any Network Customer under the Tariff on the Transmission System as a Network Resource, up to the Generating Facility’s full output, on the same basis as existing Network Resources that are interconnected to the Transmission or Distribution System, as applicable, and to be studied as a Network Resource on the assumption that such a designation will occur.

  • Although Network Resource Interconnection Service does not convey a reservation of transmission service, any Network Customer under the Tariff can utilize its network service under the Tariff to obtain delivery of energy from the interconnected Interconnection Customer's Large Generating Facility in the same manner as it accesses Network Resources.
