Apparent connection definition

Apparent connection means the appearance to a reasonable person of an ownership interest or affiliate interest, which appearance may result from location, commonality of personnel, common name, or other factors.

  • Illicit connection means any man-made conveyance connecting an illicit discharge directly to a municipal separate storm sewer.

For the purpose of determining how much piping is connected to any individual UST system, the piping that joins two UST systems should be allocated equally between them.

  • Cross Connection means a jumper cable or similar connection provided pursuant to Collocation at the digital signal cross connect, Main Distribution Frame or other suitable frame or panel between (i) the Collocating Party’s equipment and (ii) the equipment or facilities of the housing party.

  • Customer relationship means a continuing relationship between a consumer and a licensee under which the licensee provides one or more insurance products or services to the consumer that are to be used primarily for personal, family or household purposes.

  • Interconnecting Utility means the utility (which may or may not be Buyer or an Affiliate of Buyer) providing interconnection service for the Facility to the Transmission System of that utility.

  • Substantial business relationship means the extent of a business relationship necessary under applicable state law to make a guarantee contract issued incident to that relationship valid and enforceable. A guarantee contract is issued "incident to that relationship" if it arises from and depends on existing economic transactions between the guarantor and the owner or operator.

  • Connection Date means the date when the Carrier having received the relevant information from the Company is in a position to and has agreed to commence provision of the Fixed Network Services to the Customer;

  • Interrelated Wrongful Acts means Wrongful Acts that have as a common nexus any fact, circumstance, situation, event, transaction, cause or series of causally connected facts, circumstances, situations, events, transactions or causes.

  • Significant relationship means a situation in which the actor is: (1) the complainant's parent, stepparent, or guardian; (2) any of the following persons related to the complainant by blood, marriage, or adoption: brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, first cousin, aunt, uncle, nephew, niece, grandparent,great-grandparent, great-uncle, great-aunt; or (3) an adult who jointly resides intermittently or regularly in the same dwelling as the complainant and who is not the complainant's spouse.   • Interconnected Entity means either the Interconnection Customer or the Interconnected Transmission Owner; Interconnected Entities shall mean both of them.

  • Inter-connection Point means interface point of renewable energy generating facility with the transmission system or distribution system, as the case may be:

  • Service Connection means all cables and equipment required to connect the supply mains to the electrical installation of the consumer at the point of supply;

  • point of consumption means a point of consumption as defined in the Regulations;

  • Load Shedding means the systematic reduction of system demand by temporarily decreasing load in response to transmission system or area capacity shortages, system instability, or voltage control considerations under Tariff, Part II or Part III.
