Appropriate ethics commission means (R.C. 102.01(F)): (1) for matters relating to members of the General Assembly, employees of the General Assembly, employees of the Legislative Service Commission, and candidates for the office of member of the General Assembly, the Joint Legislative Ethics Committee, (2) for matters relating to judicial officers and employees, and candidates for judicial office, the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline of the Supreme Court, and (3) for matters relating to all other persons, the Ohio Ethics Commission.

  • Free appropriate public education means special education and related services that are provided at public expense and under public supervision and direction, and without charge, meet the standards of the Department of Public Instruction, include an appropriate preschool, elementary or secondary school education; and are provided in conformity with an IEP.

  • District Evaluation Advisory Committee means a group created to oversee and guide the planning and implementation of the Board of Education's evaluation policies and procedures as set forth in N.J.A.C. 6A:10-2.3.

  • Vigilance and Ethics Officer means an officer appointed to receive protected disclosures from whistle blowers, maintaining records thereof, placing the same before the Audit Committee for its disposal and informing the Whistle Blower the result thereof.

  • Health Department means the department of environmental quality, a city health department, a county health department, or a district health department, whichever has jurisdiction.

  • National Labor Relations Act means the National Labor Relations Act, as amended.

  • Market Regulation Department means all Exchange Officials and/or agents of the Exchange that assist the Exchange in the implementation, surveillance and enforcement of the Exchange Rules and other Obligations.

  • Interstate commission means the Interstate Commission for Juveniles created by Article III of this compact.
