Approved EU SCCs means, where the GDPR or Swiss DPA applies, the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021 for the transfer of personal data to third countries pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, or any subsequent version thereof released by the European Commission. In the event any subsequent version of such clauses is released that is applicable to the Services, the Parties agree that the then-current version of the clauses will apply, in which case any references in this DPA to specific clauses shall be deemed to refer to equivalent clauses in the then-current version of the clauses, regardless of their enumeration.
