Areawide groundwater contamination means groundwater
Areawide groundwater contamination means groundwater contamination on multiple adjacent properties with different ownerships consisting of hazardous substances from multiple sources that have resulted in commingled plumes of contaminated groundwater that are not practicable to address separately.

  • Groundwater means all water, which is below the surface of the ground in the saturation zone and in direct contact with the ground or subsoil.

  • Soil means all unconsolidated mineral and organic material of any origin.

  • Dangerous Substances means a substance or article described in regulation 3 of the Dangerous Substances Regulations;
