the Council means the London Borough of Merton.
bargaining council means a bargaining council registered in terms of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, and, in relation to the public service, includes the bargaining councils referred to in section 35 of that Act;
Council of Ministers means the Council of Ministers of the Community established by Article 9 of the Treaty;
School Council for a School, means the school council established for the School under the Act.
Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.
Academic Council means the Academic Council of the University;
County Council means Greenville County Council, the governing body of the County.
Apprenticeship committee means those persons designated by the sponsor to act for it in the administration of the program. A committee may be “joint,” i.e., composed of an equal number of representatives of the employer(s) and of the employees represented by a bona fide collective bargaining agent(s), and is established to conduct, operate, or administer an apprenticeship program and enter into apprenticeship agreements with apprentices. A committee may be “unilateral” or “nonjoint” and shall mean a program sponsor in which a bona fide collective bargaining agent is not a participant.
traditional council means a traditional council established and recognised in terms of section 3 of the Traditional Leadership and Governance Framework Act (Act No. 41 of 2003);
Diocesan Board of Education means that body constituted under the Diocesan Boards of Education Measure 1991 for the Diocese and any successor body;
Tribal Council means the governing body of the Band established pursuant to Article X of the Constitution.
Advisory Council means the developmental disabilities advisory
Governing Council means the Governing Council of the University;
National Council means the National Bargaining Council for the Clothing Manufacturing Industry, registered in terms of the Act;
regional council means a regional council established under section 2 of the Regional Councils Act, 1992 (Act 22 of 1992);
Sanctions Committee means the Committee of the United Nations Security Council which was established pursuant to paragraph 18 of United Nations Security Council Resolution ("UNSCR") 1737 (2006);
Regional Board means a California regional water quality control board.
the Council Regulation means Council Regulation (EC) No.1083/2006 laying down general provisions on the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund and the Cohesion Fund and repealing Regulation (EC) No.1260/1999(5);
Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework or “IPPF” means the indigenous peoples planning framework for the Investment Program, including any update thereto, agreed between the Borrower and ADB and incorporated by reference in the FFA;
Apprenticeship program means a program registered with the U.S. Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training which contains the terms and conditions for the qualification, recruitment, selection, employment and training of apprentices, including the requirement for a written apprenticeship agreement.
Apprenticeship sponsor means an entity operating an apprenticeship program or in whose name an apprenticeship program is being operated, registered or approved by the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.
National Board means the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, (NB) 1055 Crupper Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43229, whose membership is composed of the Chief Boiler Inspectors of jurisdictions who are charged with the enforcement of the provisions of the ASME Code.
Mobile crisis outreach team means a crisis intervention service for minors or families of minors experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.
Procurement Committee means a Committee constituted by the Employer to perform the functions as such under the terms and conditions of Contract.
City Council means the governing body of the City.
standards committee (“pwyllgor safonau”) means the standards committee of the county or county borough council which has functions in relation to the community council for which it is responsible under section 56(1) and (2) of the Local Government Act 2000.
