Interested Person and “Principal Underwriter” shall have the meanings given them in the 1940 Act.
Interested Party means a person:
interested persons and "Assignment" shall have their respective meanings as set forth in the 1940 Act, subject, however, to such exemptions as may be granted by the Commission under the 1940 Act or any interpretations of the Commission staff.
Interdicted person means a person to whom the sale, offer for sale, or
Released Person means any person who is released on bail or on his personal bond, as the case may be;
regulated person means a person whose collection activities are confined and are directly related to the operation of a business other than that of a collection agency including any of the following:
Supervised Person means directors, officers and partners of an Adviser (or other persons occupying a similar status or performing similar functions), employees of an Adviser, and any other person who provides advice on behalf of an Adviser and is subject to the Adviser’s supervision and control.
authorised person means the Client or any person (including any individual or entity) authorised by the Client to act on its behalf in the performance of any act, discretion or duty under this Agreement (including, for the avoidance of doubt, any officer or employee of such person) in a notice reasonably acceptable to the Custodian.
Disinterested Person means a director who has not, during the period that person is a member of the Committee and for one year prior to commencing service as a member of the Committee, been granted or awarded equity securities pursuant to this Plan or any other plan of the Company or any Parent, Subsidiary or Affiliate of the Company, except in accordance with the requirements set forth in Rule 16b-3(c)(2)(i) (and any successor regulation thereto) as promulgated by the SEC under Section 16(b) of the Exchange Act, as such rule is amended from time to time and as interpreted by the SEC.
Prohibited Person means any Person:
OFAC Listed Person is defined in Section 5.16(a).
recognised person means a recognised clearing house or a nominee of a recognised clearing house or of a recognised investment exchange;
Injured Person under this section means a Member covered by the EOC who sustains an injury or illness and any spouse, dependent or other person or entity that may recover on behalf of such Member including the estate of the Member and, if the Member is a minor, the guardian or parent of the Member. When referred to in this section, "KFHPWA's Medical Expenses" means the expenses incurred and the value of the benefits provided by KFHPWA under this EOC for the care or treatment of the injury or illness sustained by the Injured Person.
Unrelated Person means any Person other than (i) a Subsidiary of Borrower or (ii) an employee stock ownership plan or other employee benefit plan covering the employees of Borrower and its Subsidiaries.
Excepted Person Defined in Section 13.13(a).
Permitted Person shall have the meaning set forth in the definition of “Change of Control.”
Exposed person means any person wholly or partially in a danger zone;
Connected Person in relation to a company, means:
Interested Parties means, with respect to a structured settlement, the payee, a beneficiary irrevocably designated under the annuity contract to receive payments following the payee’s death, the annuity issuer, the structured settlement obligor, and any other party that has continuing rights or obligations under the structured settlement.
Intoxicated person means a person whose mental or physical
appointed person means the person given the authority to assess, plan and organise the work; to select suitable or appropriate plant and equipment, to ensure statutory documentation is current and in order; to provide instruction and supervision for the work to be undertaken safely; and tostop the work whenever he considers danger is likely to arise if it were to be continued.
Convicted means that there has been a determination of guilt as a result of a trial or the entry of a plea of guilty or nolo contendere, regardless of whether adjudication is withheld. Conviction of a similar offense includes, but is not limited to, a conviction by a federal or military tribunal, including courts-martial conducted by the Armed Forces of the United States, and includes a conviction or entry of a plea of guilty or nolo contendere resulting in a sanction in any state of the United States or other jurisdiction. A sanction includes, but is not limited to, a fine, probation, community control, parole, conditional release, control release, or incarceration in a state prison, federal prison, private correctional facility, or local detention facility.
Incapacitated person means any infant, lunatic, idiot or insane person;
requested Party means the Contracting Party requested to provide information; n) the term “information gathering measures” means laws and administrative or judicial procedures that enable a Contracting Party to obtain and provide the requested information;
Licensed person means an individual who is licensed or otherwise legally authorized to practice a professional service by a court, department, board, commission, or an agency of this state or another jurisdiction, any corporation or professional services corporation all of whose shareholders are licensed persons, any partnership all of whose partners are licensed persons, or any limited liability company all of whose members and managers are licensed persons.
Represented person means the principal, beneficiary, partnership, corporation, or other person to whom the duty stated in subdivision (a) is owned.
