Arterial Streets definition

Arterial Streets means public street improvements made by the City in rights-of-way dedicated by the Port to the City or in existing City rights-of-way or City fee owned property, including paving, curbs, gutters, pedestrian facilities, street lighting, bicycle facilities, street trees, and traffic control devices, relocation and/or construction of street lights, traffic control devices, signage, City utility systems located within the rights-of-way, and other similar improvements that are constructed or improved consistent with BMC 20.37.460.

Examples of Arterial Streets in a sentence

  • City Minor Arterial Streets that are located within communities, and serve as access to major arterials.

  • Arterial street means any United States or state numbered route, controlled access highway, or other major radial or circumferential street or highway designated by local authorities within their respective jurisdictions as part of a major arterial system of streets or highways.

  • Perennial stream means a well-defined channel that contains water year round during a year of normal rainfall with the aquatic bed located below the water table for most of the year. Groundwater is the primary source of water for a perennial stream, but it also carries stormwater runoff.
