Pedestrian Facilities. Pedestrian facilities shall be provided at the locations of urban sections in order to ensure safety of pedestrians while crossing in consultation with NHIDCL. This should include (a) minimum Zebra Crossing with flashing Beacon or (b) Zebra Crossing with separate pedestrian phase or (c) any other provision as approved by NHIDCL.

Pedestrian Facilities. Projects to improve the walkability of the downtown TIF District include the improvement of alleyways for better pedestrian movement; the creation of small public gathering spaces; rehabilitation of the Arcade connecting 7th and Pike between Madison and Washington; new streetscapes in the areas of Roebling Point, 7th Street, Pike Street, Sixth Street, Xxxxx Boulevard, and Madison Avenue. A map which shows the location of the above development projects within the Development Area is attached as Exhibit “E”). In addition, these projects will require an investment in new infrastructure to be supported in part from the anticipated new incremental revenues generated within the Development Area, for parking, streetscape improvements, street improvements and relocations, utilities, etc.; and specifically from Madison Avenue from 0xx Xxxxxx to 00 Xxxxxx, Xxxx Xxxxxx from Madison Avenue to Washington Street, Pike Street from Washington Street to the railroad bridge, and 0xx Xxxxxx from the railroad bridge to Xxxxx Street.

Pedestrian Facilities. The Owner is subject to the following requirements related to Pedestrian Facilities within and abutting the Property: a) Concrete sidewalks, of a width and design consistent with City standards, shall be constructed along both sides of all public streets within the Property, concurrent with individual lot development. The obligation for the frontage of Outlot B shall be divided equally and assigned to proposed Lot 4, Block 2, and Lot 1, Block 3. b) Owner shall construct a 10 ft wide bituminous pedestrian path along the entire frontage of the Property abutting 55th St NW, at Owner's expense, as part of the City-Owner Contract for Public Improvements to Serve Hunter Valley Estates. c) The individual lot owners for parcels within the Property shall be responsible for maintenance of pedestrian facilities within and abutting their parcels within the Property. d) Owner shall coordinate dedication of a 30 ft wide public easement for City Park's Department construction and maintenance of a pedestrian path across proposed Outlot A. Owner shall have no financial obligation for construction or maintenance of this path.

Pedestrian Facilities. Owner is obligated to complete the construction and to maintain sidewalk along the frontages of all public streets constructed within the Property. Owner shall construct and maintain pedestrian facilities within the Property, consistent with the plans approved for the Project. Owner shall pay for City’s construction of a 10 foot wide bituminous pedestrian path along the entire frontage of 65th ST NW, calculated as $37.75 per foot (rate through 12/31/20) x 1610.73 feet = $60,805.06. Payment is due within 30 days after invoicing by the City.
