ASR means Residentia Group authorised service representative;
ESMF means the framework dated, March 2007, prepared by the Recipient and approved by the Association, setting forth an environmental and social screening process that will enable Project implementers to identify and assess potential adverse environmental and social impacts, and offset and reduce them to acceptable levels, or enhance positive impacts, and in accordance with which ESMPs will be prepared and submitted to the Association for its approval, as the same may be amended from time to time with the concurrence of the Association.
MP means Monongahela Power Company, an Ohio corporation.
NPS means nominal pipe size.
Hosting Partners means companies who entered into an agreement with CIPC in the areas of application management; application hosting, application service provision, and marketplace hosting are incorporated in this category.
TP means fibre network termination point at the Installation Address.
Spectrum means frequencies of electromagnetic spectrum used to provide fixed or mobile communications services as licensed or authorized by the FCC.
Catalyst means a substance whose presence enhances the reaction between chemical compounds.
BD means Business Day and “DD” means Dealing Day. Any application received after the cut off time on a Dealing Day will be treated as an application for the next Dealing Day.
ASREQ means "as required". Detailed delivery requirements are then specified elsewhere in Section F. So that the Government can determine whether or not the Contractor is achieving satisfactory technical progress, certain milestones events during the performance of this contract (including Configuration Reviews and Audits) are established. These events are referred to as Program Milestones and are set forth below: Program Milestones Completion Date "to be cited in each individual task order" Shipment addresses shall be cited in each individual task order issued under the authority of this contract.
APC means the Ambulatory Payment Classification system under 42 CFR 419.31 used by Medicare for grouping clinically and resource-similar procedures and services.
Summit means the Summit of the Heads of State or Government of SADC established by Article 9 of this Treaty;

Alliance means the Public Service Alliance of Canada;
Secondary dose monitoring system means a system which will terminate irradiation in the event of failure of the primary dose monitoring system.
Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.
Insight as used in this clause, means technical visibility into the Program, maintained through audit, surveillance, assessment of trends and metrics, software independent verification and validation, the flight readiness review process, and review or independent assessment of out-of-family anomalies occurring in any phase of the program.
CBOT means The Board of Trade of the City of Chicago, Inc.
GW means gigawatt. One gigawatt equals one billion watts, one million kilowatts or one thousand megawatts.

Subscriber Management System means a system or device which stores the subscriber records and details with respect to name, address and other information regarding the hardware being utilized by the subscriber, channels or bouquets of channels subscribed by the subscriber, price of such channels or bouquets of channels as defined in the system, the activation or deactivation dates and time for any channel or bouquets of channels, a log of all actions performed on a subscriber’s record, invoices raised on each subscriber and the amounts paid or discount allowed to the subscriber for each billing period;
