Avoidance Area definition

Avoidance Area means the areas identified as the Avoidance Area on the map included as Exhibit C to this Agreement.
Avoidance Area means any Aboriginal Site within the Mining Tenement that had been identified by the Corporation and/or the Survey Team as an area to be avoided during Ground Disturbance Works or other prospecting and exploration activities by the Grantee Party;

Examples of Avoidance Area in a sentence

  • Nothing in this Section 3.2.3.2 shall be construed as an endorsement by SSOC of any MC Measures or other proposals, projects or actions related to Camp ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ that are within the Avoidance Area or located southerly and easterly of the Project Limit Line, or as limiting SSOC’s rights to Oppose such measures, proposals, projects or actions.

  • Commercial air tour lateral setbacks for Statue of Liberty National Monument and Governors Island National Monument, and the Liberty State Park Avoidance Area.

  • With respect to Section 3, NAHC is a party to and may enforce: (a) subsection 3.1.2 with respect to any alignment within the Avoidance Area, and (b) subsection 3.2, but shall not otherwise have any rights or obligations, including enforcement rights, under Section 3.

  • If the mainline is located within the airspace of the 44 Environmentally Sensitive Avoidance Area, Developer shall ensure that it is aligned at the 1 farthest extents of the Environmentally Sensitive Avoidance Area and is entirely outside of the 2 Environmentally Sensitive Avoidance Area Protected Air Space.

  • If TCA formally abandons the SR 241 Extension Project, TCA shall be permitted to utilize, sell or bank, as mitigation credit, any Conservation Measure established with Conservation Fund monies prior to the abandonment of the SR 241 Extension Project, provided the credit is for a specific project or projects, and further provided that none of the projects is in or will have a Direct Impact to the Avoidance Area.

  • De-compaction/Excavation Avoidance Area - Decompaction work activities will not be required on the temporary road proposed for subdivision 9 and the final 100 feet of the proposed temporary road in subdivision 1 to avoid damage to the underground powerline.

Related to Avoidance Area

  • Operating Area means those areas on-shore in India in which company or its affiliated company may from time to time be entitled to execute such services/operations.

  • Baseline area means any intrastate area (and every part thereof) designated as attainment or unclassifiable under section 107(d)(1) (A)(ii) or (iii) of the Act in which the major source or major modification establishing the minor source baseline date would construct or would have an air quality impact for the pollutant for which the baseline date is established, as follows: equal to or greater than one (1) microgram per cubic meter (annual average) for SO2, NO2, or PM10 ; or equal to or greater than 0.3 micrograms per cubic meter (annual average) for PM2.5.

  • Business Area means an adjacent area that is zoned by a state, county, township, or municipal zoning authority for industrial or commercial purposes, customarily referred to as "b" or business, "c" or commercial, "i" or industrial, "m" or manufacturing, and "s" or service, and all other similar classifications and that is within a city, village, or charter township or is within 1 mile of the corporate limits of a city, village, or charter township or is beyond 1 mile of the corporate limits of a city, village, or charter township and contains 1 or more permanent structures devoted to the industrial or commercial purposes described in this subdivision and that extends along the highway a distance of 800 feet beyond each edge of the activity. Each side of the highway is considered separately in applying this definition except that where it is not topographically feasible for a sign or sign structure to be erected or maintained on the same side of the highway as the permanent structure devoted to industrial or commercial purposes, a business area may be established on the opposite side of a primary highway in an area zoned commercial or industrial or in an unzoned area with the approval of the state highway commission. A permanent structure devoted to industrial or commercial purposes does not result in the establishment of a business area on both sides of the highway. All measurements shall be from the outer edge of the regularly used building, parking lot, or storage or processing area of the commercial or industrial activity and not from the property lines of the activities and shall be along or parallel to the edge or pavement of the highway. Commercial or industrial purposes are those activities generally restricted to commercial or industrial zones in jurisdictions that have zoning. In addition, the following activities are not commercial or industrial:

  • Maintenance area means any geographic region of the United States previously designated nonattainment pursuant to the CAA Amendments of 1990 and subsequently redesignated to attainment subject to the requirement to develop a maintenance plan under §175A of the CAA, as amended.

  • Geographic Service Area or “Service Area” means an area as defined in Section 1345(k) of the Health and Safety Code.
