Ballast Water Convention definition

Ballast Water Convention means the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments 2004;
Ballast Water Convention means the International Convention for the Control of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments, 2004 (Federal Law Gazette 2013 II, pp. 42, 44), in the domestic version valid at any given time;

  • Ballast water means water with its suspended matter taken on board a ship to control trim, list, draught, stability or stresses of the ship.
