Band 1 salary definition

Band 1 salary means the salary which applies to teachers who have undertaken an approved initial teacher education program and met the National Professional Teaching Standards at the Graduate level. It is mandatory for new teachers to be provisionally or conditionally accredited at Graduate teacher level to be approved for teaching in NSW.
