Home Country means, with respect to an Insured Person, the country or territory as shown on the Insured Person’s passport or the country or territory of which the Insured Person is a permanent resident.
non-IOM country means a country that is not the Isle of Man;
Major EU Country Major EU Country means France, Germany, Italy, Spain or the United Kingdom.
Group I Country means Australia, The Netherlands, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Group III Country Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Norway.
Convention country means any country or territory in which the Convention is in force;
EU GDPR means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
Eligible Country means the countries and territories eligible for participation in procurements.
Group II Country Germany, Ireland, Sweden and Switzerland.
Cooperating country means the country in which the employing USAID Mission is located.
Indian country means (i) all land within the limits of any Indian reservation under the jurisdiction of the United States government, notwithstanding the issuance of any patent, and including rights-of-way running through the reservation; (ii) all dependent Indian communities with the borders of the United States whether within the originally or subsequently acquired territory thereof, and whether within or without the limits of a state; and (iii) all Indian allotments, the Indian titles to which have not been extinguished, including rights-of-way running through the same.
non-UK country means a country that is not the United Kingdom;
Sales territory means an area of exclusive sales responsibility for the brand or brands of beer sold by a supplier as designated by an agreement.
GDPR means the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
Eligible Countries means: (a) in the case of the African Development Bank and the Nigeria trust Fund, the Member Countries of the African Development Bank.

Qualifying country means a country with a reciprocal defense procurement memorandum of understanding or international agreement with the United States in which both countries agree to remove barriers to purchases of supplies produced in the other country or services performed by sources of the other country, and the memorandum or agreement complies, where applicable, with the requirements of section 36 of the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2776) and with 10 U.S.C. 2457. Host Country means, with respect to an Insured Person, the country or territory the Insured Person is visiting or in which the Insured Person is living, which is not the Insured Person’s Home Country.
Service Territory means the geographic area within which PG&E as a Utility Distribution Company is authorized and required to provide electric transmission and distribution service.
Commercial or marketing purpose means the sale of student data; or its use or disclosure for purposes of receiving remuneration, whether directly or indirectly; the use of student data for advertising purposes, or to develop, improve, or market products or services to students.
U.S. Territory means American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Participating Country’ means any country that the Association determines meets the requirements set forth in Section 11 of Resolution No. 194 of the Board of Governors of the Association, adopted on April 8, 1999; and ‘Participating Countries’ means, collectively, all such countries."; and
(b) The second sentence of Section 5.01 is modified to read: "Except as the Borrower and the Association shall otherwise agree, no withdrawals shall be made: (a) on account of expenditures in the territories of any country which is not a Participating Country or for goods produced in, or services supplied from, such territories; or (b) for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of the Association, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations."
Section 1.02. Unless the context otherwise requires, the several terms defined in the General Conditions and in the Preamble to this Agreement have the respective meanings therein set forth and the following additional terms have the following meanings:
Major European Country means any of France, Germany, Italy, Spain or the United Kingdom.
