BC Electrolytic Action definition

BC Electrolytic Action means the proceeding commenced by the BC Plaintiff before the BC Court that is identified in Schedule “A” to this Settlement Agreement.

  • Volatile Organic Compound (VOC means any compound containing at least one atom of carbon, excluding carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, carbonic acid, metallic carbides or carbonates, and ammonium carbonate, and excluding the following:

Aerosol adhesives include special purpose spray adhesives, mist spray adhesives, and web spray adhesives.

  • Radionuclide means a radioactive element or a radioactive isotope.

  • Web spray adhesive means any aerosol adhesive that is not a mist spray or special purpose spray adhesive.

  • Carcinogen means a chemical that causes an increased incidence of benign or malignant neoplasms, or a substantial decrease in the latency period between exposure and onset of neoplasms through oral or dermal exposure, or through inhalation exposure when the cancer occurs at nonrespiratory sites in at least one (1) mammalian species or man through epidemiological studies or clinical studies, or both.

  • Polyolefin Adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond polyolefins to substrates.

  • Filter profile means a graphical representation of individual filter performance, based on continuous turbidity measurements or total particle counts versus time for an entire filter run, from startup to backwash inclusively, that includes an assessment of filter performance while another filter is being backwashed.

  • Pyrolysis means the thermal degradation of a substance in the absence of any oxidising agent, which does not form part of the substance itself, to produce char and gas and/or liquid; and

  • Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances or “PFAS” means a class of fluorinated organic chemicals containing at least one fully fluorinated carbon atom.
