Operating Day means the daily 24 hour period beginning at midnight for which transactions on the PJM Interchange Energy Market are scheduled.
Unit operating day means a calendar day in which a unit combusts any fuel.
Target Operating Day any day that is not (a) a Saturday or Sunday, (b) Christmas Day or New Year’s Day or (c) any other day on which the Trans-European Real-time Gross Settlement Operating System (or any successor settlement system) is not operating (as determined by the Administrative Agent).
Operating Period for any Element of the Project shall mean the period from (and including) the COD of such Element of the Project, up to (and including) the Expiry Date and for the Project, shall mean the period from (and including) the COD of the Project, up to (and including) the Expiry Date;
Boiler Fuel means natural gas used as fuel for the generation of steam and in internal combustion turbine engines for the generations of electricity.
Operating Month for a Shipper or Transferor means any calendar month in which Carrier either transports Crude Petroleum or recognizes and records a change in ownership of Crude Petroleum for the account of such Party. For purposes hereof the calendar month shall be deemed to begin at 7:00 a.m. (Central Time) on the first day of such month.
Operating Area means those areas on-shore in India in which company or its affiliated company may from time to time be entitled to execute such services/operations.
Boiler means an enclosed fossil or other fuel-fired combustion device used to produce heat and to transfer heat to recirculating water, steam, or other medium.
Commercial Operation Date means the date on which a Material Project is substantially complete and commercially operable.
polling day means the day fixed for holding the poll at an election;
Normal Operating Conditions means those Service conditions which are within the control of Grantee. Those conditions which are not within the control of Grantee include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, civil disturbances, power outages, telephone network outages, and severe or unusual weather conditions. Those conditions which are ordinarily within the control of Grantee include, but are not limited to, special promotions, pay-per-view events, rate increases, regular peak or seasonal demand periods, and maintenance or upgrade of the Cable System.
Planned Outage means the removal of equipment from service availability for inspection and/or general overhaul of one or more major equipment groups. To qualify as a Planned Outage, the maintenance (a) must actually be conducted during the Planned Outage, and in Seller’s sole discretion must be of the type that is necessary to reliably maintain the Project, (b) cannot be reasonably conducted during Project operations, and (c) causes the generation level of the Project to be reduced by at least ten percent (10%) of the Contract Capacity.
Calibration gas means a gas mixture used to calibrate gas analysers.
Water Surface Elevation (WSE means the height, in relation to NAVD 1988, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of riverine areas.
Scheduled operation time means the scheduled operating hours of the System for the month. All planned downtime on the system would be deducted from the total operation time for the month to give the scheduled operation time.
Grace Period Business Day means a day on which commercial banks and foreign exchange markets are generally open to settle payments in the place or places and on the days specified for that purpose in the relevant Obligation and if a place or places are not so specified, in the jurisdiction of the Obligation Currency.
Commercial Operations Date or "COD": The date on which Facility first achieves Commercial Operations.
Railway Operation Date means the date of the first carriage of iron ore, freight goods or other products over the relevant Railway (other than for construction or commissioning purposes);
Delivery Day means a day other than a Saturday, a Sunday or any other day on which national banking associations are authorized to be closed. Any party may change its address for purposes of the receipt of notices and demands by giving notice of the change in the manner provided in this provision.
Generator Planned Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit for inspection, maintenance or repair with the approval of the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.
Metering Date for a Billing Period, means the midnight of the last Day of the calendar month.
Operating pressure means the pressure at which the parts of an irrigation system are designed by the manufacturer to operate.
Energy Settlement Area means the bus or distribution of busses that represents the physical location of Network Load and by which the obligations of the Network Customer to PJM are settled.
Observation Shift Days means the number of London Banking Days specified in the relevant Final Terms; and
Passenger area means the area designed to seat the driver and passengers while a motor vehicle is in operation and any area that is readily accessible to the driver or a passenger while in his or her seating position, including but not limited to any type of glove or storage compartment accessible to passengers or driver.
Planned Downtime means planned downtime for upgrades and maintenance to the Services scheduled in advance of such upgrades and maintenance.
