Planned Outage definition

Planned Outage means the removal of equipment from service availability for inspection and/or general overhaul of one or more major equipment groups. To qualify as a Planned Outage, the maintenance (a) must actually be conducted during the Planned Outage, and in Seller’s sole discretion must be of the type that is necessary to reliably maintain the Project, (b) cannot be reasonably conducted during Project operations, and (c) causes the generation level of the Project to be reduced by at least ten percent (10%) of the Contract Capacity.
Planned Outage means a planned interruption, in whole or in part, to the availability of a Generator to permit Owner to perform maintenance and repair of the Generator.
Planned Outage means proactive work required to maintain the service provided, Node4 may with reasonable notice require a temporary outage in service. Wherever possible Node4 will agree the outage with you in advance of the required work. Any planned downtime shall not be included in Incident or service reliability measurements.

Examples of Planned Outage in a sentence

  • Extended Planned Outages are planned in advance and the Registrar Community is provided notification in accordance with Section 6.4.3. Extended Planned Outage periods may not occur in the same Monthly Timeframe as a Planned Outage.

More Definitions of Planned Outage

Planned Outage means NERC Event Type PO, as set forth in attached Exhibit B, and specifically excludes any Maintenance Outage or Forced Outage.
Planned Outage means, subject to and as further described in the CPUC Decisions, a CAISO-approved, planned or scheduled disconnection, separation or reduction in capacity of the Unit that is conducted for the purposes of carrying out routine repair or maintenance of such Unit, or for the purposes of new construction work for such Unit.
Planned Outage means the temporary operational removal of the Facility from service to perform work on specific components in accordance with a pre-planned operations schedule, such as for a planned annual overhaul, inspections, or testing of specific equipment of the Facility.
Planned Outage means any planned reduction or suspension of the electrical output from the Project or unavailability of the Project in whole or in part as a result of the inspection, maintenance, or repair of equipment that is scheduled in accordance with Section 3.7(a).
Planned Outage means the status of the unit in the Power Plant during the period of planned inspection and standby, including the overhaul, maintenance, planned maintenance of the common system and the maintenance during the public holidays required by the dispatcher, eliminating defects during off-peak period and shutting off to be standby etc..
Planned Outage has the meaning set forth in Section 4.6(a).
