Bona fide means a licensed fishing boat marked with its licensed fishing boat number, with a fishing crew who hold commercial fishing licences;
Bona fide purchaser means a person who in good faith makes a purchase without notice of any outstanding rights of others.
Bona fide agency, as used in this clause, means an established commercial or selling agency, maintained by a contractor for the purpose of securing business, that neither exerts nor proposes to exert improper influence to solicit or obtain Government contracts nor holds itself out as being able to obtain any Government contract or contracts through improper influence.
Bona Fide Offer means an actual or genuine offer which includes a specific wage or a training opportunity at a specified place when used to determine whether the parent has refused an offer of training or employment.
Bona Fide Request (BFR) is the process described in the applicable Appendix UNE.
Bona fide employee means a person, employed by a bidder and subject to the bidder's supervision and control as to time, place, and manner of performance, who neither exerts, nor proposes to exert improper influence to solicit or obtain contracts nor holds out as being able to obtain any contract(s) through improper influence.
Bona fide member means an individual who participates in activities of a qualified organization
Bona fide association means, with respect to health insurance coverage offered in this
Bona Fide Request (BFR) means the process described in Attachment 08 – Bona Fide Request (BFR).
Bona fide physician-patient relationship means a treatment or counseling relationship between a physician and patient in which all of the following are present:
School bus means every motor vehicle owned by a public or governmental agency or private school and operated for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity, to or from school or school activities, or, privately owned and operated for compensation for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity to or from school or school activities (Education Law §11[1] and Vehicle and Traffic Law §142).
Bona Fide Debt Fund means any fund or investment vehicle that is primarily engaged in the making, purchasing, holding or otherwise investing in commercial loans, bonds and other similar extensions of credit in the ordinary course.
Transient guest means a natural person staying less than 30 consecutive days.
Patron means an individual to whom food, beverages, or services are sold,
Vendor or “Vendors” means any entity submitting a bid in response to the Solicitation, the entity that has been selected as the lowest responsible bidder, or the entity that has been awarded the Contract as context requires.
Retail Client means a client who is not a professional client;
Bona fide legal resident of this State means any resident who has established residence of at least 90 days in the State.
Third Party Offer has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.2(a).
School-sponsored media means all student media that are:
Selling Institution The entity obligated to make payments to the Issuer under the terms of a Participation Interest.
Third Party Purchaser has the meaning set forth in Section 3.3.
Third Party means a provider of digital educational software or services, including cloud- based services, for the digital storage, management, and retrieval of Education Records and/or Student Data, as that term is used in some state statutes. However, for the purpose of this DPA, the term “Third Party” when used to indicate the provider of digital educational software or services is replaced by the term “Provider.”
Sado-masochistic abuse means flagellation or torture by or upon a person or the condition of being fettered, bound, or otherwise physically restrained.
Transient lodging means a room or a suite of rooms.
Customer Affiliate means an entity that owns or controls, is owned or controlled by or is or under common control or ownership with Customer, where control is defined as the possession, directly or indirectly, of the power to direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of an entity, whether through ownership of voting securities, by contract or otherwise;
Vendors means the proposer(s) responding to this RFP and vendor(s) to whom a contract has been awarded as a result of this RFP by SMSD. A responsible vendor is a vendor who has adequate financial resources (or the ability to obtain such resources), can comply with the delivery requirements, and is a qualified and established firm regularly engaged in the type of business that provides the product(s) /service(s) listed herein.
