Book Entry Bond definition

Book Entry Bond means a Bond authorized to be issued to and, except as provided in subsections (c) or (d) of Section 2.13 of this Indenture, restricted to being registered in the name of a Securities Depository.
Book Entry Bond means a Bond issued to and registered in the name of a Depository for the participants in such Depository.
Book Entry Bond means a savings bond maintained by the United States Treasury in electronic or paperless form as a computer record.

  • The Corporation and the Trustee may treat the Depository therefor as the absolute owner of a Book Entry Bond for the purpose of (x) payment of the principal or Redemption Price of and interest on such Bond, (y) giving notices of redemption and of other matters with respect to such Bond, (z) registering transfers with respect to such Bond, and for all other purposes whatsoever.
