BPI Certified definition
BPI Certified means those Compostable fiber Foodware products that have been certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) to safely and readily biodegrade in an industrial composting facility in the typical processing time. As of January 1, 2020, BPI ensures all certified products are Fluorinated Chemical free.

The Products will include, without limitation, BPI Certified food serviceware (i.e. clear and paper cups, cup lids, plates, straws, clam shells, cutlery, foam trays) and compostable bags in addition to other items for test purposes.
Contractors will have sufficient skills to conduct energy efficiency retrofits and weatherization projects with a high degree of quality and customer satisfaction, such skills to be demonstrated by approval as an Energy Trust Home Energy Solutions Trade Ally and Oregon Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certified.
