Breaks and Vacations. We observe all Federal Holidays: 2022: New Year's Day: January 1, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day: January 17, Xxxxxxx’s Birthday: February 18, President’s Day: February 21, Spring Break: March 14-18, Easter: April 15 & 18, Memorial Day: May 30, Independence Day: July 4, Labor Day/Fall Break: September 5-9, Thanksgiving: November 24, Christmas: December 26. *The full schedule outlines the exact dates off. * Schedule Subject to change Total number of clocked hours required: 550 broken down as follows: g ● Business & Marketing/Laws & Regulations/Ethics: 34 Hours ● Documentation/S.O.A.P. Notes/Client Assessment: 35 Hours ● Anatomy & Physiology: 80 Hours ● Pathology: 30 Hours ● Health/Hygiene: 20 Hours ● Kinesiology: 26 Hours ● Body Mechanics/Self Care/Equipment/Environment Safety: 20 Hours ● Massage & Bodywork Techniques & Hands on Application: 175 Hours ● Benefits /Contraindications: 15 Hours ● Instructor Guided Practice Appointments/Clinical Hours: 115 Hours Course Length: 21 weeks, each scheduled day includes a 30-minute lunch: ● Program begins June 27th with a mandatory orientation 8:30-3:00pm (Week 1) =6 hours ● Week 2 there is no class on July 4th ● Week 7 there is no class on August 12th ● Week 8 there is no class on August 15th ● Beginning week 8 students will start clinical working on the public on Fridays from 8:30-3:00 breaking down to 6 hours a day of instruction. ● Week 11 there is no class during Fall Break, September 5th_9th. ● Week 15 there is no class on October 7th. ● Week 16 there is no class on October 10th. ● Week 20 there is no class on November 11th. ● Week 21 is scheduled for 16 hours of instruction. ● Week 21 Written Exam November 17th, Hands-on Exam November 18th and Graduation November 19th. ● Study/Review time with Instructor and make up clinical hours. Clinical hours must be scheduled with the director or instructor & approved prior to this date. Instructor shall be on site for all clinical hours. ● *Make up hours will come at the expense of the student at a rate of $45/Classroom hour. This Fee may be split between students at a rate of $15/Classroom hour with a minimum of 3 students. This is a clocked hour course, your tuition covers the scheduled class hours only.

Related to Breaks and Vacations

  • Vacation means annual vacation with pay.

  • Weeks pay means the rate of pay for the employee concerned at the date of termination, and shall include in addition to the ordinary pay any over- agreement payments and the following, if applicable:

  • income-related employment and support allowance means an income-related allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007;

  • Hours of Service means hours to be credited to an Employee under the following rules:

  • Hours worked means the time during which an employee is subject to the control of an employer, and includes all the time the employee is suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so.

  • Holidays shall be deemed to mean and include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

  • STIPULATED HOURS OF SERVICE PER DAY means hours of duty per day, normal hours/timings of duty whereof shall be determined by the Company's Engineer for which fixed charge shall be payable.

  • main phase employment and support allowance means an employment and support allowance where the calculation of the amount payable in respect of the applicant includes a component under section 2(1)(b) or 4(2)(b) of the Welfare Reform Act 2007 except in Part 1 of Schedule 1;

  • converted employment and support allowance means an employment and support allowance which is not income-related and to which a person is entitled as a result of a conversion decision within the meaning of the Employment and Support Allowance (Existing Awards) Regulations 2008;

  • Earnable compensation means the full rate of the

  • Vacation Year means the twelve (12) month period commencing on the first (1st) day of April in each calendar year and concluding on the thirty-first (31st) day of March of the following calendar year.

  • Employer Contributions means all amounts paid into ASRS by an

  • Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is absent from work with or without pay, by virtue of sickness, quarantine, or accident, or out-of-town medical/dental referrals for which compensation is not payable under the Worker's Compensation Act.

  • Employer Matching Contributions means the Employer matching contributions made to the Trust Fund pursuant to Article V (Employer Matching Contributions).

  • Retirement allowance means the retirement payments to which a member is entitled.

  • Employee Contributions are contributions made by a Participant on an after-tax basis, whether voluntary or mandatory, and designated, at the time of contribution, as an employee (or nondeductible) contribution. Elective deferrals and deferral contributions are not employee contributions. Participant nondeductible contributions, made pursuant to Section 4.01 of the Plan, are employee contributions.

  • Time Worked means time during which an employee is performing labor or services for the benefit of an employer, including all time s/he is suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so.

  • Annual Earnings means your gross annual income from your Employer, not including shift differential, in effect just prior to the date of loss. It includes your total income before taxes. It is prior to any deductions made for pre-tax contributions to a qualified deferred compensation plan, Section 125 plan or flexible spending account. It does not include income received from commissions, bonuses, overtime pay or any other extra compensation or income received from sources other than your Employer.

  • Period of Severance means a continuous period of time during which an Employee is not employed by the Employer. Such period begins on the date the Employee retires, quits or is discharged, or if earlier, the twelve (12) month anniversary of the date on which the Employee was otherwise first absent from service.

  • Employee Account means any brokerage account or unit investment trust account in which the Van Kampen Employee has any direct or indirect beneficial ownership.

  • Company Matching Contributions means the Company contributions described in Section 3.4.

  • Weeks Pay' means the ordinary time rate of pay for the employee concerned:

  • Years of Service means the total number of full years in which a Participant has been employed by one or more Employers. For purposes of this definition, a year of employment shall be a 365 day period (or 366 day period in the case of a leap year) that, for the first year of employment, commences on the Employee's date of hiring and that, for any subsequent year, commences on an anniversary of that hiring date. Any partial year of employment shall not be counted.

  • Total Compensation means the cash and noncash dollar value earned by the executive during the Subcontractor’s preceding fiscal year and includes the following (for more information see 17 CFR 229.402(c)(2)):
