Card Imprinter definition

Card Imprinter means any Card imprinter we provide to You to enable You to process Transactions when Your Terminal is not working properly.
Card Imprinter means any card imprinter to be used to process Transactions manually.
Card Imprinter means a device used to imprint the details of the Credit Card on Sales Drafts;

  • You are responsible for training people You authorise to operate the Terminal and/or Card Imprinter.

  • Where You complete a Fallback Voucher, You must: — submit a Voucher to Us within 3 Banking days of processing the Transaction; — record all items for a Transaction on a single Voucher; — obtain telephone Authorisation if the amount of the Transaction is more than Your Floor Limit (if You do not do this You will be liable for the amount of the Transaction); and — use the Card Imprinter and the correct Voucher to record the Transaction.

  • We will supply You with a Terminal, any necessary Peripherals, a Card Imprinter, Transaction Vouchers, and if requested, a Car Charger.

  • The Merchant must take all steps that are, in the circumstances, reasonable to ensure that each Electronic Terminal and each Card Imprinter is protected against loss, theft, unauthorised access or use, modification or other misuse.

  • The Merchant agrees that such steps include, without limitation, ensuring that, at the start and at the close of business each day, each Electronic Terminal and each Card Imprinter is secure and has not been lost or stolen.

  • The Merchant must notify ANZ in writing as soon as the Merchant becomes aware (or should reasonably have become aware) that an Electronic Terminal or Card Imprinter has been stolen, lost or may otherwise have been altered, tampered with or compromised.

  • If Worldline has agreed that the Merchant can process Transactions electronically, the Merchant must not use a Card Imprinter and Electronic Terminal to process the same Transaction.

  • Subject to the necessary changes the contents of this Terms & Conditions shall apply to the Merchant supplied with a Card Imprinter and/or the Merchant supplied, with a P0S Terminal and in so far as certain provisions apply exclusively to the use of the P0S Terminal they shall not apply to the use of the Card Imprinter and the same applies in reverse.

  • On each occasion a Sales Draft or EDC Slip is drawn up to evidence a transaction between the Merchant and the Cardholder, the Merchant shall at the time of sale, verify the validity of the Card and have the particulars of the Card and the particulars of Merchant legibly imprinted on such Sales Draft or EDC Slip by means of the Card Imprinter or EDC Printer and have it completed to show the date and nature of the transaction, details and the prices of the goods and/or services.

  • The Merchant may only process a Transaction manually using the Card Imprinter if the Electronic Terminal is malfunctioning or it is impossible for Transactions to be processed through it.

  • Workstation means the area within a procedure area where a practitioner performs body art. The workstation includes, but is not limited to, the client chair or table, counter, mayo stand, instrument tray, storage drawer, and practitioner's chair.

  • Card means the Visa credit card and any duplicates, renewals, or substitutions the Credit Union issues to you; "account" means your Visa credit card line-of-credit account with the Credit Union; and "Credit Union" means the Credit Union whose name appears on this Agreement or anyone to whom the Credit Union transfers this Agreement.

  • Driver means a person who drives or is in actual physical control of a vehicle.

  • Data Processing Equipment means any equipment, computer hardware, or computer software (and the lease or licensing agreements related thereto) other than Personal Computers, owned or leased by the Failed Bank at Bank Closing, which is, was, or could have been used by the Failed Bank in connection with data processing activities.

  • Automated teller machine means a device, linked to a financial institution's account records, which is able to carry out transactions, including, but not limited to: account transfers, deposits, cash withdrawals, balance inquiries, and mortgage and loan payments.

  • Retailer means every person engaged in the business of making sales at retail, or for distribution,

  • Port Cargo Handling Equipment means rubber-tired gantry cranes, straddle carriers, shuttle carriers, and terminal tractors, including yard hostlers and yard tractors that operate within ports.

  • Cards means either a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card, debit card (or other similar card that requires a PIN for identification purposes), or pre-paid, stored-value or gift card.

  • Gift card means a document, card, certificate, or other record, whether tangible or intangible, that may be redeemed by a consumer for a dollar value when making a purchase of tangible personal property or services.

  • CPU means central processing unit.

  • Download means copying data from one computer system (for example a backend server) to another (for example a vehicle).
