Cards definition

Cards means either a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card, debit card (or other similar card that requires a PIN for identification purposes), or pre-paid, stored-value or gift card.

Cards means Association or Other Network branded cards that enable consumers to purchase goods and services from Merchants.

Cards means the CBD Smiles Visa Platinum Credit Card and / or the CBD Smiles Visa Signature Credit Card in physical or virtual form.

• Xxxxxxxx agrees to accept Cards for payment of goods or services without charging any amount over the advertised price as a condition of Card acceptance, unless local law allows Merchant to be permitted to engage in such practice.

• Merchant may not discriminate between payment Cards within a payment Card Network on the basis of the Card Issuer that issued the presented payment Card.

• You may close your Credit Line at any time by notifying us in writing and returning all Cards cut in half.

• Bank may require additional information about Merchant or Merchant’s procedures for accepting Cards.

• Merchant may offer a discount or in-kind incentive as an inducement for a Cardholder to use a means of payment that the Merchant prefers, provided that the discount: (i) is clearly disclosed as a discount from the standard price; (ii) is non-discriminatory, by providing the same discount for all Cards and other accepted tender types; (iii) does not differentiate on the basis of the Issuer or the Card Network; and (iv) is in accordance with the law and the Rules.

More Definitions of Cards

Cards means credit or debit cards bearing the trademarks of MasterCard International Inc. (‘MasterCard’) and Visa Inc. (‘Visa’) or any other applicable card network as approved by Acquirer (collectively, the ‘Networks’);
