Checked-In Baggage definition

Checked-In Baggage means baggage handed over by the Insured/Insured Person and accepted by a common carrier for transportation in the same carrier in which the Insured/Insured Person is or would be travelling and for which the common carrier has issued a baggage receipt to the Insured/Insured Person.
Checked-In Baggage means the baggage entrusted by the Insured and accepted by a Common Carrier for transportation for which a baggage receipt is issued to the Insured by the Common Carrier. This shall exclude all the items that are carried/ transported under a contract of affreightment.
Checked-In Baggage means the baggage containing the clothing and personal effects, handed over by the insured person and accepted by the common carrier for transportation in the same carrier in which the insured person is going to travel and for which the carrier has issued a baggage receipt to the Insured.

More Definitions of Checked-In Baggage

Checked-In Baggage means the baggage offered by the Insured and accepted by an Airline for international transportation in the same aircraft as the Insured and for which the airline has provided a baggage receipt, and the contents of the baggage checked in by the Insured so long as such contents do not violate any Airline policy or rule restricting the nature of items that may be carried on board its aircraft.
Checked-In Baggage or “Hold baggage” means the baggage carried in custody, by The Airline, by having added an identification tag.
