Career Band definition

Career Band means the salary and position classification system adopted by the Company for use after January 1, 1994.

Examples of Career Band in a sentence

  • Each Employee who was classified as an Executive Career Band (“EB”) employee on or prior to December 31, 1993, who has five or more years of Vesting Service and who is a participant in the Qualified Pension Plan shall be eligible to receive benefits under this Article III.

  • Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan for Executives in Career Band 6 and Above shall not be a Participant in this Plan and shall not be entitled to any benefit under this Plan.

  • Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan for Executives in Career Band 6 and Above shall not be eligible for any benefits under this Plan.

  • Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan for Executives in Career Band 6 and Above is to provide certain Executives and their Beneficiaries with monthly retirement income benefits under all defined benefit deferred compensation plans maintained by the Company that are at least equal to the benefits that would have been payable had such Executives been covered by the Retirement Program and the Supplemental Pension Plan (as defined herein) throughout their Credited Service (as defined herein) with the Company.

  • Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan for Executives in Career Band 6 and Above.

  • The return of a Senior Manager to his former Career Band following a temporary assignment in a higher band (a temporary promotion) shall not be considered a “Reclassification” for purposes of the Plan (even if the Senior Manager returns to a position that is not eligible for a long-term incentive).

  • A change in a Senior Manager’s Career Band as a result of a broad-based change to the Career Band structure, including a Career Band addition, deletion, consolidation or name change, shall not be considered a “Reclassification” for purposes of the Plan.

  • To assign an Administrative Professional Career Band to newly created positions and to review positions as a result of changes in job content for any position in the bargaining unit.

  • Career teacher means a teacher who:

  • Residence employee means a person employed by you to perform duties in connection with the maintenance or use of the insured premises. This includes persons who perform household or domestic services or duties of a similar nature for you. This does not include persons while performing duties in connection with your business.

  • Chief Nursing Executive means the senior nurse employed by the Hospital who reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for nursing services provided in the Hospital;

Cities, counties and states have varying housing codes that further define housing deemed substandard by law.

  • Hospitals means either an employee when engaged in repairs, demolition and / or maintenance in any block or portion of a hospital used for the care or treatment of patients suffering from infections or contagious diseases or when an employee is working inside a morgue in which one (1) or more dead bodies are not in refrigeration. Inclement weather will mean the existence of rain or abnormal climatic conditions (whether they be those of hail, snow, cold, high wind, severe dust storm, extreme high temperature or the like or any combination thereof) by virtue of which it is either not reasonable or not safe for employees to continue working whilst the same prevail.
