Service employee, definition

Service employee, as used in this clause, means any person (other than a person employed in a bona fide executive, administrative, or professional capacity as defined in 29 CFR 541) engaged in performing a District contract not exempted under 41 U.S.C. §356, the principal purpose of which is to furnish services in the United States, as defined in section 22.1001 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. It includes all such persons regardless of the actual or alleged contractual relationship between them and a contractor.
Service employee, means any person engaged in the performance of this contract other than any person employed in a bona fide executive, administrative, or professional capacity, as these terms are defined in Part 541 of Title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, as revised. It includes all such persons regardless of any contractual relationship that may be alleged to exist between a Contractor or subcontractor and such persons.

  • The Employer shall provide to each Maintenance/Groundskeeper employee who works part-time, each Food Service employee who works 6 hours or more per day but less than 6.5 hours per day, and each bus driver who works 4 or more hours per day (based on Regular/Special Education Runs) the following insurance coverage for a full twelve (12) month period for the employee only as defined by the policy.

  • The Employer shall provide to each Maintenance/Groundskeeper employee who works full time and each Food Service employee who works 6.5 or more hours per day the following insurance coverage for a full twelve (12) month period for the employee and his/her entire family and any other eligible dependents as defined by the policy.

  • When an approved outside user group uses district food service facilities after normal work hours, the District may assign a Food Service employee to be present during such use.
