Cash Deferral definition

Cash Deferral means that portion of the assets of a Participant’s Deferral Account which is attributable to cash-based deferrals made by Participant and investment results earned (or lost) thereon.
Cash Deferral means the deferral of Compensation pursuant to the Program into an obligation of the Company to pay on a future date or dates the deferred Compensation plus interest or earnings thereon determined in the manner set out in the instrument evidencing the Company's obligation. The general terms and conditions applicable to Cash Deferrals are set out on Exhibit A.

Examples of Cash Deferral in a sentence

  • If a yield is required to be paid on any preferred units prior to maturity and any Cash Deferral Conditions exist, such yield may be cumulated and accrued until and to the extent that such prohibition no longer exists.

  • Any senior preferred units or the promissory note shall be redeemed or payable when and to the extent the Cash Deferral Condition which prompted their issuance no longer exists.

  • Any senior preferred shares or the promissory note shall be redeemed or payable when and to the extent the Cash Deferral Condition which prompted their issuance no longer exists.

  • For each payroll period beginning on or after the effective date of an Eligible Employee’s Salary Deferral Agreement, his Cash Deferral Account shall be credited with an amount of Salary Deferrals, if applicable.

  • Executive further agrees that the obligations of Holdings to make payments pursuant to Sections 6(a) and 6(b) above are subject to there being no Cash Deferral Condition existing (as such term is defined in Section 3(d) of the RSA and Section 3.5(a)(iv) of the SH Agreement).

  • Compensation may be deferred into either a Cash Deferral or Option.

  • EXHIBIT A --------- Cash Deferral Set out below are the general terms and conditions applicable to an election to defer Compensation into an obligation of the Company to pay the Deferred Compensation in cash at a later date.


More Definitions of Cash Deferral

Cash Deferral means any portion of a Director's Annual Cash Retainer that a Director elects to defer in accordance with the Plan.
Cash Deferral means an amount credited to the Participant in cash pursuant to Section 4.01.
