CATSI Act definition

CATSI Act means the Corporations (Aboriginal and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Islander) Act 2006 (Cth).

  • It is acknowledged that the displacement provisions of the Corporations Act do not apply to the CATSI Act.

  • Rulebook: a document that contains all of the internal governance rules (as that phrase is defined in section 63-1 of the CATSI Act) of the corporation consistent with the Regional Corporation Principles or Central Services Corporation Principles (whichever is relevant), the Indigenous Land Use Agreements, the Trust Deed and the CATSI Act.

  • If a Dispute or any part of a Dispute relates to an issue arising out of the meaning of any provision of the CATSI Act or the Corporation’s Rule Book, the Directors or any party to the Dispute may seek an opinion from the Registrar about the correct meaning of the relevant provision.

  • The parties to this strategy also agree that stores that are currently incorporated under State and Territory Associations Incorporations laws will be strongly encouraged to incorporate under the Corporations (Aboriginal and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Islander) Act 2006 (CATSI Act) (Action 3).
