CDM Registry definition

CDM Registry means the clean development mechanism registry established, operated and maintained by the executive board of the clean development mechanism pursuant to Article 12 of the Kyoto Protocol and the decisions adopted pursuant to the UNFCCC or the Kyoto Protocol;
CDM Registry means the registry established and maintained by the CDM Executive Board pursuant to the International Rules to ensure the accurate accounting of CERs and the issuance, holding, transfer and acquisition of CERs.
CDM Registry means the registry administered by the Executive Board responsible for Issuance of CERs and forwarding of CERs into the accounts of Project Participants, in accordance with the International Rules;

Examples of CDM Registry in a sentence

  • A CER is a tradable emission unit or carbon credit issued by the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Registry for emission reductions achieved by CDM projects and verified by the rules of the Kyoto Protocol.

  • Upon the request of the project participants, the CDM Registry Administrator shall, after the end of a commitment period, carry over any CERs held in a reserve account for a CCS project activity to the subsequent commitment period.

  • In respect to CERs and their voluntary cancellation, Sellers of CERs must have a project that has issued CERs, paid their Share of Proceeds (SOP) fee (to the relevant entity), the CERs must be held in the Pending Account or a Permanent Holding Account of the CDM Registry and not listed on the UN Platform for voluntary cancellation of CERs.

  • On this platform, both CP1 and CP2 CERs from either the pending account or a personal holding account in the CDM Registry (see section below for a description of the account structure) can be marketed by the project participants, after the adaptation and administration tax (share of proceeds, SoP, see Box 2 below) has been paid (UNFCCC 2021a).

CDM Registry means the registry established by the Executive Board in accordance with Decision 3/CMP.1.
CDM Registry means the clean development mechanism registry established, operated and maintained by the executive board of the clean development mechanism pursuant to Article 12 of the Kyoto Protocol and Decision 3/CMP.1 of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol;
