The Meeting of the Parties. Adopts the International Single Species Action Plans for the following species/populations:
The Meeting of the Parties. Expresses its gratitude to the Government of Hungary for its commitment to host MOP8 in Hungary in the framework of the ‘One with Nature’ international exhibition in 2021;

Adopts the International Implementation Tasks for 2016-2018 appended to this Resolution, which are updated and amended on the basis of the International Implementation Tasks adopted for 2012-2015 as the medium-term priorities for international cooperation activities for implementation of the Agreement;

Adopts the International Single Species Action Plans for the following species/populations: Dalmatian Pelican (Pelecanus crispus) (document AEWA/MOP 7.25), Velvet Scoter (Melanitta fusca) - Western Siberia & Northern European/NW European population (document AEWA/MOP 7.23), White-headed Duck (Oxyura leucocephala) - revision of the 2005 International Single Species Action Plan (document AEWA/MOP 7.24);
The Meeting of the Parties. 1. Adopts the following newly developed conservation guidelines:
a) Guidelines on how to avoid or mitigate impact of electricity power grids on migratory birds in the African-Eurasian region (document AEWA/MOP 5.37), and
b) Guidelines for the translocation of waterbirds for conservation purposes: complementing the IUCN guidelines (document AEWA/MOP 5.36), in accordance with Article IV.4 of the Agreement, as guidance for the Contracting Parties in the implementation of the Agreement and its Action Plan;
2. Adopts the revised versions of the following previously adopted conservation guidelines:
a) Guidelines on identifying and tackling emergency situations for migratory waterbirds (document AEWA/MOP 5.35),
b) Guidelines on regulating trade in migratory waterbirds (document AEWA/MOP 5.33), and
c) Guidelines on avoidance of introductions of non-native waterbird species (document AEWA/MOP 5.34 Rev. 1);
The Meeting of the Parties. Agrees to continue and refine the pilot Common Information Management, Communication and Awareness-raising Team taking into consideration lessons learned by both UNEP/CMS and UNEP/AEWA Secretariats;
The Meeting of the Parties. Appoints to the Technical Committee the members and alternates named in Appendix I to the present Resolution, taking into account terms of office in accordance with Rule 5 of the Modus Operandi of the Technical Committee and the geographical representation as laid down in its Annex;
