Child care means continuous care and supervision of five or more qualifying children that is:
Home and community-based services or "HCBS" means Home and Community-Based Services as defined in OAR chapter 411, division 004.
Indicators of student progress and growth means the results of assessment(s) of students as defined in N.J.A.C. 6A:8, Standards and Assessment.
COVERED HEALTHCARE SERVICES means any service, treatment, procedure, facility, equipment, drug, device, or supply that we have reviewed and determined is eligible for reimbursement under this plan.
Texas Grant Management Standards or “TxGMS” means uniform grant and contract administration procedures, developed under the authority of Chapter 783 of the Texas Government Code, to promote the efficient use of public funds in local government and in programs requiring cooperation among local, state, and federal agencies. Under this Grant Agreement, TxGMS applies to Grantee except as otherwise provided by applicable law or directed by System Agency. Additionally, except as otherwise provided by applicable law, in the event of a conflict between TxGMS and applicable federal or state law, federal law prevails over state law and state law prevails over TxGMS.
Child care services means the range of activities and programs provided by a certificate holder to an enrolled child, including personal care, supervision, education, guidance, and transportation.
Nursing home-type patients means a patient who has been in hospital more than 35 days, no longer requires acute hospital care, cannot live independently at home or be looked after at home, and either cannot be placed in a nursing home or a nursing home place is not available.
Nursing Care Plan means a plan of care developed by a nurse that describes the medical, nursing, psychosocial, and other needs of a child and how those needs shall be met. The Nursing Care Plan includes which tasks shall be taught, assigned, or delegated to the qualified provider or family.
Long-term inpatient care means inpatient services for
Sadomasochistic abuse means actual or explicitly simulated flagellation or torture by or upon a person who is nude or clad in undergarments, a mask or bizarre costume, or the condition of being fettered, bound or otherwise physically restrained on the part of one so clothed.
Long-term care services means the services admin- istered directly or through contract by the aging and disability services administration and identified in WAC 388-106- 0015.
Number of Students Who Began Program means the number of students who began the program who are scheduled to complete the program within the reporting calendar year.
HITECH means the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act.
Elder abuse (OAA) means abuse, neglect, or exploitation of an older individual (elder) including the willful:
Child Caregiver means an individual providing basic childcare service needs for Your minor children under the age of 18 while You are on the Trip without the minor children. The arrangement of being the Child Caregiver while You are on the Trip must be made 30 or more days prior to the Scheduled Departure Date.
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services or “CMS” means the federal office under the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, responsible for the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
Qualified long-term care services means services that meet the requirements of Section 7702(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, as follows: necessary diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic, curative, treatment, mitigation and rehabilitative services, and maintenance or personal care services which are required by a chronically ill individual, and are provided pursuant to a plan of care prescribed by a licensed health care practitioner.
Child abuse means any of the following acts committed in an educational setting by an employee or volunteer against a child:
Family child care provider means a person who: (a) Provides
Pharmacy care means medications prescribed by a licensed physician and any health-related services considered medically necessary to determine the need or effectiveness of the medications.
Uniform Grant Management Standards or “UGMS” means uniform grant and contract administration procedures, developed under the authority of Chapter 783 of the Texas
Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture means any genetic material of plant origin of actual or potential value for food and agriculture.
Hospice Care means a coordinated program of active professional
Eligible next Michigan business means that term as defined in section 3 of the Michigan economic growth authority act, 1995 PA 24, MCL 207.803.
New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.
Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.
