Certified pool operator definition

Certified pool operator means someone who has successfully completed the Certified Pool Operator (CPO) course sanctioned by the National Swimming Pool Foundation, the Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) course sanctioned by the National Recreation and Park Association, or an equivalent course approved by the department. A certified pool operator must be currently certified, recertified, or must have obtained any Continuing Education Units (CEUs) required by the sanctioning organization.
Certified pool operator means a person who has attended a training course and received certification for pool or spa operation in accordance with Title 25, Texas Administrative Code Section 265.203(a), as amended.
