Training Course. The Employer shall post notice of any Training Courses for which employees may be selected. The bulletin shall contain the following information, if available: Type of course (subjects and material to be covered); Time and duration of the course; Location of the course; Basic qualifications required of applicants. If possible, this bulletin shall be posted for a period of ten (10) calendar days on Bulletin Boards in all Departments to afford all interested employees an opportunity to apply for such training.

Training Course. 15.10.1 The Employer shall post any training courses and experimental programs for which Employees may be selected. The bulletin shall contain the following information: type of course (subject and material covered); time, duration, and location of course; and minimum qualifications required from applicant. 15.10.2 This bulletin shall be posted for a period of two (2) weeks on the bulletin board to afford all interested Employees an opportunity to apply for such training. 15.10.3 Except where the Union and the Employer have jointly agreed to an Affirmative Action Plan to redress inequities, the qualified applicant with the greatest seniority shall be selected. 15.10.4 Time spent in such training shall be considered to be time worked.

Where the Employer determines that a training course is appropriate, and may be appropriate for any of a number of employees, and where time limits for registration permits, the Employer will notify employees of the training course available in order that they may signify their interest in receiving such training. The Union recognizes that the Employer, in its implementation of this article, will be mindful of its budget, and may give precedence to its Full Time employees.

Training Course. Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant reasonable leave without pay to employees who exercise the authority of a Representative on behalf of the Union to undertake training related to the duties of a Representative.
Training Course. The Employer shall post all optional in-service training courses for a period of not less than fourteen (14) calendar days. Where an employee applies for posted training and is bypassed by the employer and a less senior employee is trained, the employee shall not be denied the right to bump or to be promoted to a position based only on the fact that the employee has not completed the training.

The training in the long run, will not only be useful in SSM, but it will be a great asset to the teacher for the whole of life. The said training will not cause any inconvenience to the Teacher. The only requirement is that he/she should have a strong mind and will-power to undertake this challenging task.
