Collection Authority, DCO or Chaperone, as applicable, shall establish the location of the selected Athlete and plan the approach and timing of notification, taking into consideration the specific circumstances of the sport/Competition/training session/etc.
Even if the Athlete indicates reluctance to report to the Doping Control Station, the Chaperone shall keep the Athlete in view until there is no question that the Athlete has refused to submit to Doping Control.
If the Athlete refuses to sign that he/she has been notified, or evades the notification, the Chaperone/DCO shall, if possible, inform the Athlete of the Consequences of refusing or failing to comply, and the Chaperone (if not the DCO) shall immediately report all relevant facts to the DCO.
There will always be a Chaperone at this table if a participant needs assistance.
