Child Protection Registry definition

Child Protection Registry or "Registry" means a collection of information as described in subchapter II of this chapter about persons who have been substantiated for abuse or neglect as provided in subchapter II of this chapter or who were substantiated between August 1, 1994, and February 1, 2003.
Child Protection Registry means a record of all investigations that have resulted in a substantiated report on or after January 1, 1992.
Child Protection Registry means a central registry of information about persons the Division of Family Services has found cause to believe or a court has substantiated through court adjudication as having committed child abuse or neglect since August 1, 1994. Each substantiated incident shall be designated at one of three levels: II, III, IV.

Examples of Child Protection Registry in a sentence

  • Unless the Contractor holds a valid child care license or registration from the Division of Child Development, Department for Children and Families, the Contractor shall also check the Central Child Protection Registry.

  • Unless the Grantee holds a valid child care license or registration from the Division of Child Development, Department for Children and Families, the Grantee shall also check the central Child Protection Registry.

  • This mandatory check will consist of a fingerprinted Delaware and national background check completed by the State Bureau of Identification (SBI) as well as a Child Protection Registry check completed by the Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families (DSCYF).

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement the Board may issue a conditional contract of employment to an applicant subject to receipt of the applicant’s criminal records check and/or substantiation of abuse from the Vermont Child Protection Registry, the Vulnerable Adult Registry or the Sex Offender Registry.

  • Central registry means the system maintained at the department that is used to keep a record of all reports filed with the department under this act in which relevant and accurate evidence of child abuse or child neglect is found to exist.

  • International Register means the official collection of data concerning international registrations maintained by the International Bureau, which data the Agreement, the Protocol or the Regulations require or permit to be recorded, irrespective of the medium in which such data are stored;

  • Data Protection Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 20161 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);

  • General Data Protection Regulation GDPR" means regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European parliament and of the council as amended from time to time.

  • Registered Name refers to a domain name within the domain of the Registry TLD, whether consisting of two or more (e.g., xxxx.xxxxx.xxxx) levels, about which VNDS or an affiliate engaged in providing registry services maintains data in a registry database, arranges for such maintenance, or derives revenue from such maintenance. A name in a registry database may be a Registered Name even though it does not appear in a TLD zone file (e.g., a registered but inactive name).
