China Connect Security definition

China Connect Security means any Securities listed and traded on the SSE or SZSE which are available, through the China Connect Service, to be traded by Hong Kong and international investors under the Shanghai Connect or Shenzhen Connect.

  • In such circumstances, any margin trading (except for margin trading in respect of China Connect Securities buy orders) in the relevant China Connect Security shall be suspended and/or resumed accordingly.

  • Where I receive as entitlements shares or other types of securities from the issuer of a China Connect Security, whether I can buy and/or sell the entitlement security through China Connect will depend on a number of factors including whether the entitlement security is a China Connect Security, whether or not it is traded in RMB and whether or not HKSCC has put in place arrangements enabling me to do so.

  • Investors will only be allowed to sell such China Connect Security and are restricted from further buying of such China Connect Security.

  • If a China Connect Security which is eligible for China Connect trading at launch of the programme is subsequently moved to the risk alert board, investors under China Connect will be allowed only to sell the relevant China Connect Security and will be prohibited from further buying.

Related to China Connect Security

  • Contract Security means any security given by the Contractor to the NCC in accordance with the Contract;

  • Stock Connect means the securities trading and clearing linked programme with an aim to achieve mutual stock market access between mainland China and Hong Kong, comprising the Shanghai- Hong Kong Stock Connect and the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect.

  • Corporation Security or “Corporation Securities” means (i) Common Shares, (ii) shares of preferred stock issued by the Corporation (other than preferred stock described in Section 1504(a)(4) of the Code), (iii) warrants, rights, or options (including options within the meaning of Treasury Regulation §§ 1.382-2T(h)(4)(v)) and 1.382-4 to purchase Securities of the Corporation, and (iv) any Shares.

  • Bidders from a country which shares a land border with India for the purpose of this Order means:

  • Subscription Software means software provided and hosted in the Computing Environment by SAP on a subscription basis as part of the HEC Subscription offering as identified in the Order Form.

  • Subscription Services means SAP’s then-current subscription services offered under and described in detail in the applicable SAP PartnerEdge Model.

  • Masterworks Shares has the meaning set forth in Section 2.8(c).

  • Relevant Security means the Stock, any other equity security of the Company or any of its subsidiaries and any security convertible into, or exercisable or exchangeable for, any Stock or other such equity security.

  • Provisional Interconnection Service means interconnection service provided by Transmission Provider associated with interconnecting the Interconnection Customer’s Generating Facility to Transmission Provider’s Transmission System and enabling that Transmission System to receive electric energy and capacity from the Generating Facility at the Point of Interconnection, pursuant to the terms of the Interconnection Service Agreement and, if applicable, the Tariff.

  • Vessel means the vessel/craft belonging to the Contractor for carrying out the work.

  • Transferred Shares means all or any portion of a Member’s Shares that the Member seeks to Transfer.

  • Subscription Service means the PROS software applications subscribed to by Customer under an Order and made available online by PROS as described in the Documentation. “Subscription Service” excludes Professional Services and Free Trial Services.

  • Company Shares means the common shares in the capital of the Company;

  • Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise means a business enterprise, including a sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation that is:

  • Company Share means one share of common stock of the Company, $0.01 par value per share.

  • Merchant Shipping Notice means a Notice described as such and issued by the MCA; and any reference to a particular Merchant Shipping Notice includes a reference to any document amending or replacing that Notice which is considered by the Secretary of State to be relevant from time to time and is specified in a Merchant Shipping Notice;

  • Clearing Corporation Security means securities which are in the custody of or maintained on the books of a Clearing Corporation or a nominee subject to the control of a Clearing Corporation and, if they are Certificated Securities in registered form, properly endorsed to or registered in the name of the Clearing Corporation or such nominee.
