Chinese herbal medicine. (中藥材) means any of the substances specified in Schedule 1 or 2 of the Ordinance (copy attached). Chinese herbal medicine means the use of plant, mineral and animal substances for the treatment and prevention of disease in accordance within the theoretical framework of Chinese medicine in its traditional manner and/or as adapted by technological and scientific advances.
